 Fred Whelan

I was born, raised, and went to college and graduate school in the Philadelphia area, so my roots are definitely there.  However, I have lived in the Bay Area for the past 30+ years, so San Francisco now feels like home to me.  My second home is in Arizona and I love spending time there, even in the summer. Sure it’s 115 degrees, but there’s no humidity!  

Whelan Stone is the executive search and coaching firm which Gladys and I founded.  We’ve been working together as a team for the past 13 years and love what we do.  As search consultants we work with companies to strengthen their management team.  As coaches, we work with individuals to help them get the most out of their careers.  It’s incredibly rewarding to see people reach their goals.
